  • 224 g (8 ounces) full-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 226 g (1 cup) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 450 g (4 cups) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, using a hand-held or stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the butter and cream cheese together until smooth and creamy, 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the powdered sugar and mix on low speed until completely incorporated.
  3. Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl. Add the vanilla and zest and beat on medium speed for 3-4 minutes until light and airy.
