  • 226 g (1 cup) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 560 g (5 cups) powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Using a handheld or a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the cream cheese, butter, and lemon zest together on medium-high speed until smooth and creamy.

Notes

Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Freezer: Freeze in a sealed container for up to 3 months. Thaw it in the fridge overnight, let it come to room temperature and re-whip for a creamy texture.
